Cantaloupe Systems on Fast Track

The San Francisco Business Times ranks Cantaloupe Systems as one of the “Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies” in the Bay Area.  This prestigious ranking appears in the October 16, 2009 edition of the Business Times and is a public recognition of Cantaloupe’s rapid development and growth.

Cantaloupe’s Seed®, a technically advanced, wireless, remote monitoring platform for the vending industry, has gained industry-wide acceptance as the most effective way to efficiently manage the servicing of remote assets.  Over 30,000 vending machines in the U.S. are currently Seed® connected, representing a 250% increase over the past year.  The customer base has increased 181% and gross revenue has tripled during this same period.

Factors contributing to Cantaloupe’s success have been its cutting edge technology, its highly trained engineers and support staff, and the overwhelmingly positive results achieved by the vending operators actually employing the Seed® platform.

Mandeep Arora, Cantaloupe System’s CEO, had this to say about the ranking; “I want to thank the SF Business Times for identifying and highlighting the achievements of private companies in the Bay Area.
Here at Cantaloupe, our rapid growth stems from years of research into the specific needs of the Vending Industry and the development of a technology that enables vendors to effectively compete in this difficult economic environment.  We are constantly listening to our customers and working to insure that our technology continues to satisfy, not only their current needs, but anticipates the challenges they will face in the future.”
