This is the second time Cantaloupe has been chosen for the list, with the first ranking awarded in 2008 at the 361st spot. “We are thrilled Cantaloupe made Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing companies list twice in three years. We are thankful to our customers, staff and the vending industry for recognizing the strength and value of our technology and services,” said Mandeep Arora, co-founder and CEO of Cantaloupe Systems. “To be included with other high-growth companies at the top of their game is an honor and inspiration.” The Inc. 500/5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 to 2009. The prestigious list of the nation’s most successful private companies has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success where future household names have made their mark. It is also a distinguished editorial award, celebration of innovation, network of entrepreneurial leaders and an effective public relations showcase. “With the advent of Seed Cashless™, our new cashless device and Level 1 PCI-certified gateway services, we are poised to lead the cashless revolution in vending,” said Anant Agrawal, co-founder and CMO of Cantaloupe Systems. “In addition, our Seed™ Stimulus Pricing program allows operators to experience the benefits of Seed with minimal upfront, capital investment. We anticipate this product release, along with the ongoing value created by our Seed solution platform, will enable us to make the Inc. 500 list again next year.” The survey also showed that Cantaloupe ranked 34th in the Top Business Products & Services Companies in the nation and 24th in the Top Companies in the San Francisco metro area. Cantaloupe’s Seed solution is an automated route and merchandising management tool for vending operations that gathers data from machines wirelessly throughout the day to drive maximum route efficiencies. By analyzing inventory levels, cash in the machine and geographic considerations, Seed automatically generates optimal delivery schedules and pick lists based on real-time, item level sales data. With this information, orders are loaded by warehouse personnel for each machine, providing drivers with more time to focus on servicing their routes. The Seed solution also reconciles daily cash collection and has tools to capture spoilage and inventory variances. SeedSync™, a customizable integration tool, integrates all collected data with existing vending management or other software packages, ensuring company-wide information integrity. Finally, Seed Cashless will enable operators to accept credit card payments using the Seed technology and is currently in beta testing.
