SAN FRANCISCO April 30, 2010 ─ Cantaloupe Systems, Inc. and Validata Computer and Research Corporation are proud to announce the integration between Validata’s RouteSail® Millennia vending management system (VMS) and Cantaloupe’s Seed® wireless vending platform.

The bridging of Cantaloupe’s SeedSync and Validata’s RouteTel products allow for the combination of Cantaloupe’s dynamic schedules, based on its real-time wirelessly connected machines, with Validata’s predictive flex route algorithms for scheduling non-connected machines. This integration gives the vending operators one cohesive solution by creating a single daily schedule, eliminating the need to manage two separate systems or require duplicate data entry thus driving ultimate efficiencies in routing logistics.

Warren Philips, president of Validata and CEO commented “Cantaloupe and Validata are the two most highly recognized leaders in the development and deployment of vending industry standards and a Validata-driven SeedSync solution exemplifies the maximum use of automation for scheduling and routing for our customers. This is the kind of world class integration our industry-leading clients have grown to expect and deserve.”

“The integration of Millennia and Seed provides a complete end to end solution that will enable existing and new clients to drive incredible operating efficiencies provided by both solutions in one seamless package without having to worry about operating issues like duplicate data entry,” said Mandeep Arora, CEO of Cantaloupe Systems.

About Cantaloupe Systems, Inc.

San Francisco-based Cantaloupe Systems is the fastest- growing, wireless vending solutions provider in the U.S. The company was founded in 2002 by young engineers Mandeep Arora, a second-generation vending professional, and Anant Agrawal to provide automated merchandising for the $30 billion vending industry. Installed in individual vending machines, the Cantaloupe Seed device monitors all transactions and transmits the data securely via cellular networks and the Internet Cloud. The result: for the first time, vending operators know the state of each machine’s inventory without making a physical visit. Operators using Cantaloupe Seed Solution average $35,000 in annual savings per route, can replenish 80 percent more machines per week, and can reduce their carbon footprint by 40 percent through the elimination of unnecessary truck travel and smaller loads per truck. www.cantaloupesys.com

About Validata Computer & Research Corporation

Founded in 1978 by Warren C. Philips, a Montgomery, Alabama-based vending operator and distributor, Validata has achieved more industry efficiency product “firsts” ( first-to-develop, first-to-market, first to deploy), than any other vending management system. They had the first commercial-grade hand-held devices with DEX, first remote machine monitoring (RouteTel – 40,000 coin-operated telephones for AT&T), first product-level, demand-measurement tracking applications and first flex-route scheduling using service-frequency algorithms with perpetual inventory controls. Validata delivers highly integrated and profit-building turn-key systems to client-companies in the U.S., Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Central America. Validata’s clients have consistently out-performed their peers and the industry “norms” for over three decades. www.validata.com
