Regional Sales Director, Southeast

Role Overview:

Cantaloupe’s Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) are expected to engage and partner with Vending Machine prospects and clients – showing them how they can improve their businesses by leveraging technology to enhance key metrics from the customers’ operations through a proven change-management process. The role requires the ability to develop and explain a business solution using a return on investment (ROI) approach including the ability to discuss with the client their business strategy, change management and key levers for P&L and their impact.

Since Cantaloupe is a team-oriented, fast-paced, customer satisfaction, business environment, the RSD needs to be a self-starter, intelligent, highly goal-oriented and driven to succeed.  This includes excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop long-term client relations and effectively close opportunities.  Must have the ability to work with other Cantaloupe team members to develop client presentations, proposals and negotiate contracts.

Experience in selling to small, independently-owned businesses that are highly entrepreneurial in nature is important.  Prior experience in the Vending industry and experience with technology-based solutions (hardware, Software-as-a-Service, consulting services) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Must live in the Southern region of the United States and have a proven sales ability
  • Maintain an aggressive, regular and effective travel schedule in the Southern Territory
  • Quickly establish credibility and insight with target customers
  • Consistently produce sales against forecasted goals
  • Juggle multiple stages of the sales process with multiple clients
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively the technology used by Cantaloupe to produce improved Vending operations and profits
  • Ability to converse effectively the benefits of our SaaS solution and our complimentary consulting services
  • Understand and skillful use of Cantaloupe points of view, sales process, methods, and tools
  • Provide support for Lead Generation Programs, including lead qualification and conversion
  • Work with Cantaloupe Customer Success Managers and Support Team to ensure complete client satisfaction and referenceability after implementation
  • Provide input, coordination, and support to Cantaloupe Systems Marketing programs
  • Provide customer feedback to Cantaloupe Systems Product Management
  • Positive and creative attitude
  • Ability to travel domestically on a regular and consistent basis to develop and maintain client relationships in territory

Business and Sales Operations Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business and Sales Operations Manager who will lead a small team and manage key business processes. This person will work closely with the Sales, Finance, Product and Support teams to ensure that prospective and existing customers have a great quote-to-cash experience. This person will also be relied on to design new systems and processes and improve operational efficiency and performance to meet the demands of a scaling business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales to review deals/contracts and ensure customers and services are set up accordingly
  • Manage team responsible for order processing and customer setup/configuration
  • Analyze data and create reports for sales and senior management
  • Serve as the operations “go-to-person” for all channel partners. Work closely with the channel partners to ensure customers and services are configured properly
  • Work closely with Contract Manufacturing partner to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
  • Work with supply chain manager to ensure accurate order setup and accounting of inventories
  • Work with finance team on billing and leasing tasks and projects
  • Develop and maintain go-to-market and operational KPI dashboard to provide insights into business
  • Play the “project manager” role for key company projects as needed

Specific Skills:

  • Experience at a strategy consulting firm, investment bank or operating (sales ops, business ops, supply chain) experience in enterprise SaaS, IoT, or consumer internet is preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce and experience with ERP systems at an admin level
  • Experience working with data to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Logical and process-oriented. “Get things done” attitude
  • Attentive to detail and automation to reduce repetitive work
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Prior experience managing small teams preferred
  • Exceptional project management, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Sales Development Representative

Role Overview:
The SDR is expected to work closely with members of our sales and marketing teams to generate qualified leads (inbound and outbound) for adoption of Cantaloupe’s award-winning platform. Cantaloupe Systems is a fast growing company, and is looking to expand the
sales organization by hiring its first SDR who will be taking on a leadership position with opportunity for growth.

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in selling to small, independently-owned businesses that are highly entrepreneurial in nature is important. Prior experience with technology-based solutions (hardware, Software-as-a-Service, consulting services) is highly desirable. Prior experience in the Vending or Refreshments industry is a plus, but not required.

Candidates must have a proven track record of success with cold calling, emailing and leveraging social media to generate and qualify leads. SDR must be a self-starter, intelligent, highly goal-oriented and driven to succeed.

Specific Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and demonstrate proficiency with Cantaloupe’s products and value proposition.
  • Partner with our Regional Sales Directors to help fill their pipeline with qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications.
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourcing qualified opportunities for Regional Sales Directors.

Specific Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-2 Years of inside sales experience – Experience selling SaaS solutions is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills: writing, presentation, and listening
  • Demonstrable success in developing and executing telesales programs in ROI-based software environments
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Cantaloupe Systems is looking for 2-4 Seed Device Installation Technicians needed on a consultant basis for immediate, short-term assignments.
